The cement dump is used in cementing operations at production wells to isolate a lower layer in order to check other top layer or in case of an unsuccessful primary cementing.

Generally, the cement dump is used at small deep wells (up to 1500 m) which open very porous layers.

The cement dump is composed of a body (two pieces removable pipe) with pin fastening at the top and discharging valve at the bottom.

The downloading of the cement paste is controlled in the desired area by help of a valve, breaking glass lens.
